Are you curious about what kind of books your child might be interested in as they go into grade seven? I wasn’t a big reader until high school so I have to search for titles I think are a good fit for my kids. I have a great 7th grade reading list for homeschool students, and public school students alike. And I can’t believe it, but I’ll have a seventh-grader in a few short months.

7th Grade Reading List for Homeschool
I have searched recommendation from other bloggers, Amazon, our local library, and what my kids are reading. Then there are some books that I do know I have read at some point and can recommend for this age.
When I say 7th grade reading list, I mean it’s a recommendation. Every child is ready for reading different books at different levels. I currently have two kids reading at about a grade six-level, but my seven-year-old isn’t ready to read more intense, more detailed books yet.
Reading level and understanding are different things. Just something to keep in mind.
Another thing to keep in mind would be that just because one child or teen loved a certain book, does not mean that your child will. Finding interesting books is the key to getting your kids interested in reading no matter their age.
Books for 7th Graders
