I wanted chocolate, but not all the calories and/or fat that goes along with it. After looking through my cupboards I found some bananas that no one ate and my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe. Well, move over old favorite there is a new favorite in town and it’s light and fluffy. Banana chocolate chip cookies are yummy…. do I need to share with the kids who helped make them???

- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp baking soda

How to make Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Make sure to grease your cookie sheets or line them with parchment paper.
Bake for 10 minutes.
These cookies are really so light, I couldn’t get over it.
Update: I’ve made these numerous times. Only once have they not turned outright, but I had used frozen bananas. Bananas don’t get very ripe around here, never brown.
