Canadian Homeschool Bloggers

Homeschooling in Canada means that we have access to fewer homeschooling materials than Americans. And we have to buy a lot more for shipping of materials. But another thing we have less of is Canadian homeschool bloggers, and less opportunities to see and learn about Canadian resources. It might not seem like a big deal but it is nice to see others doing what you are doing on the common ground of Canada. I have found some great Canadian bloggers to showcase today so you can see how other moms like you are homeschooling and living their life in Canada.

Canadian Homeschool Bloggers To Check Out

I love to read other blogs, homeschooling blogs in particular. To see what others are using in their homeschool, what is working, what isn’t working. I know I’m not alone in this because there are so many readers out there. Learning from Canadian homeschoolers is even better in my opinion because as Canadians, it adds a level of connection that you may not feel with other homeschool bloggers.

Forgetful Momma

We are obviously Canadian. I only share secular homeschooling resources, and tips and tricks for the homeschooling mom to get everything done at some point through the week, or even just throughout the month.

The Canadian Homechooler

Lisa Marie is a busy homeschooling mom of 5 kids ranging from preschool to high school. She got started through her search for Canadian programs / books / materials that she could use with her own children. As she hunted, she realized that if she was looking for Canadian content, others might be too. That was the beginning of The Canadian Homeschooler.

Passionate Homeschooling

Kim is a homeschool mom of 6 who believes that learning should be fun for kids and moms! Her goal is to help you make learning engaging and enjoyable with hands-on learning and easy to do lessons that actually get done.

Raising A to Z

This is the family behind Raising A to Z. They live in northern Ontario, Canada where they are excitedly embarking on their homeschooling journey. You’ll often find them in their kitchen, baking cookies, doing a science experiment, or having a family dance party!

The Koala Mom

The Koala Mom cultivates family togetherness for modern moms. Bonnie Way is mother to five children, ages 12 to 2, and wants to help you keep your family as close as koalas.

Learning Mama

Alison is a Canadian homeschooling mama to three sweet girls. She views homeschooling through the lens of discipleship, education as a lifelong endeavour, and am thankful that I can begin each day anew by the grace of God.

My Cup Runs Over

Sophie is a recovering overachiever and mama to four children, whom she homeschools in a creativity-fuelled, mostly chaotic—and always cacophonous—setting. She lives in the Pacific Northwest and writes about homeschooling, family, faith, and intentional living.
