Supper time and I don’t always get along, but when it comes to this casserole we get along. I love Stove Top. I will make it in a bowl and eat it straight from the bowl, love it. Our kids are not a fan of it, except, they ate every bite of their supper which surprised us all. This Stove Top chicken casserole is easy to make and delicious.

This chicken casserole is perfect for a busy weekday. It only 30 minutes to cook in the oven, with just minutes to prep. While you are busy getting everything else going this chicken is cooking away in the oven. Pair with a simple salad, potatoes, or rice. Or, our favorite, roasted vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower.
What You Need:
- 1 lb chicken, cooked and shredded
- 1 box Stove Top Dressing
- 1 can of cream of chicken
- 2 cups of chicken broth
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
How to make Stove Top Chicken Casserole:
Spray your casserole dish with non-stick spray. Put your shredded chicken in the casserole dish. Rotisserie chicken works great for this. Pour your can of cream over the chicken. I only ever use my cream of soup substitute for this recipe and any other recipe that calls for cream of soup of any kind.
Spread the uncooked Stove Top Dressing over your chicken. Then pour the melted butter and chicken broth over the top.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Your Stove Top Dressing will be slightly crisp and golden, cooked to perfection.
I was stealing bites of the Stove Top while waiting for my slow-moving family to get to the table. It tastes amazing!
