Are you curious about what kind of books your child might be interested in as they go into grade five? I am. I have searched high and low for titles I think are a good fit for this age group. I have a great 5th grade reading list for homeschool students, and public school students alike. This is a great time to hook them on reading.

5th Grade Reading List for Homeschool
Reading level and understanding are different things. Just something to keep in mind as you pick out books for your kids. A younger child reading at a high level may not be able to handle the content, the length of the book, or understand the content.
Another thing to keep in mind would be that just because one child or teen loved a certain book, does not mean that your child will. Finding interesting books is the key to getting your kids interested in reading no matter their age.
