Facebook Groups for Homeschool Support

While most homeschooling families have a support system of other homeschooling families, not all do. Some live in rural areas where there are no other homeschoolers around. Others have family or friends who do not understand their decision to homeschool. For these families, Facebook groups can provide much-needed support and encouragement.

Where do you find your homeschooling support? We live in a very small area, a small religious area, and we’re secular homeschoolers, not an easy thing. Thanks to the wonderful world of technology though we can all find a homeschool support group through Facebook groups.

Homeschooling can be an isolating experience and it’s difficult to find like-minded people in the real world. But with Facebook groups, homeschoolers can connect with each other easily.

There are groups for all different types of homeschooling families, so you’re sure to find one that fits your needs. Whether you’re looking for advice, encouragement, or just someone to talk to, these groups can provide much-needed support for homeschooling families.

There are a few things to keep in mind when joining a Facebook group. First, take a look at the group description and members to see if it’s a good fit for you. Second, remember that everyone has different experiences and opinions, so don’t take everything at face value.

I have put together this list of great Facebook groups for you to find your support where ever works for you. I try to find secular or open to all groups. These are those, the odd one sneaks through on me and if one sneaked in on this list, let me know.
