Over the weekend Gauge started this annoying screaming. If he was lying down he screamed, so high pitched our ears would ring after wards. Cranking and screaming are not normal for him. So off to the doctor we go. The last time he was similar like this, he had an ear infection. This time though, no ear infection, instead we learned he is getting two top teeth. God help me. The girl were 12-14 months old before they got teeth and they were a breeze.
Teething and Teethers for Babies

Now anyone that has young children, anywhere from 0-2 years, knows that babies chew. They will chew on anything that they can get to their mouths. Over the past five years we have had a lot of teethers go through our house. Some the kids have loved, some they haven’t touched. There are some that we have loved too for the ease of cleaning them.
A few of our current favorite are:
Nuby Chewbies Teether
Munchkin Fresh Food Feeder, 2-Pack While this isn’t necessarily a teether, we’ve used it as one, and it is our favorite. Apple slices are a top favorite it in. They provide something firm to munch on, have a great taste, and if refrigerated before hand, are nice an cold for tender gums.
We do have a lot more, but these seem to be his favorites. Sofie is his favorite toy. I’m hoping his teeth come in quickly and don’t cause him too much pain. But we always have Boiron Camilia Teething Relief Medicine on hand. I hate to give Tylenol if I can avoid it. Camilia worked great for the girls and seem to be helping Gauge too.
What are your tricks, tips or go to things for teething babies?
