I saw ‘Cloud Playdough’ on another blog (I wish I knew which one!) and had to try it. Looking at ours and what I think theirs looked like, I think we did something wrong or you really do have to use all 8 cups of flour at a time. Either way, we had fun.

I scaled it down to save on flour. Just because I had plans for it and didn’t want to have to go back to the store.
We started with 2 cups of flour and 1/4 cup of baby oil. I also scaled it down just in case she didn’t like it. But that wasn’t necessary.
It took her a few minutes to get into it, to mix the baby oil into the flour. Instead of letting your children mix it, you can mix it before hand too.
Our attempt at making a snowman.
I think her favorite part was adding more baby oil. In the end she used all of the 9oz (just over a cup) of baby oil.
It got wetter, the texture almost reminded me of making gravy.
My hands feel amazing after playing with this. I wish I had gotten a photo of Austin when she was finally done. She’s going to have very soft arms and legs. 🙂
The container that we used? The new dollar store litter box that I bought, looks like I’ll be buying a new one for the cat, this is perfect for messes.
