I’m not sure why, but I’ve been making desserts lately. Yesterday I tried something all new, with Blake looking over my shoulder telling me it wasn’t going to turn out. Boy was he wrong. This chocolate cobbler was not only delicious, but it was so easy to make. Hardly any mixing to do, very few steps to take.

- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup of margarine
How to make a Chocolate Cobbler
First thing, turn your oven on to 350C melting 1 cup of margarine while its preheating in your 9×13 pan.
Important: mix together the sugar, milk, flour, and vanilla without stirring, you just want to fold it together. It won’t be completely mixed but it will work out (yes husband, it will work out).
Add it to the pan of hot melted butter.
Mix 1 cup of sugar with 6 tbsp cocoa and sprinkle over it all. Then carefully pour 2 cups of boiling water over it all. No stirring!
Bake for 30-45 minutes. We let it go for the full 45 and it had a nice crispy, golden brown crust on the top, amazing.
Hope you enjoy this as much as we did.
