I start by mixing together my dry ingredients together, mixing the wet ingredients together, and then combining them. Mix it well. You don’t want flour clumps in your donuts.
After I mix all the ingredients together I place a large Ziploc bag, corner first, into a mug. I then pour my batter into a Ziploc bag. This makes it like a piping bag. Which is a great way to simply pour/fill the mini donut maker molds.
Mix, bag, squeeze, close to cook. The mix tends to be thick, which makes filling the mold in the machine to be super easy and less messy as well.
The great thing about these donuts is you can have a flavored icing you desire, we chose a maple-flavored, homemade, wet/runny enough that I just dipped them in. My version of a Maple Dip from Tim Horton’s.
