Start by creaming together the eggs and sugar. Add in the melted butter and mix well. Add baking powder, and spices – nutmeg, cinnamon, and of course vanilla extract.
Mix in the flour and milk alternating between the two to make mixing easier.
Make a piing bag with a Ziploc bag and a mug to easily fill your mini donut maker mold.
Fill your mini donut maker with the batter. Close and let cook until the light on top turns green.
While your maple bacon mini donuts are baking you need to start making some icing.
Fry up some bacon! I used bacon bits because then the work of chopping up the bacon is already done for me.
Let your mini donuts and bacon bits cool down before you start dipping them into the frosting so that it doesn’t just runoff.
Give them a minute to set and then add some chopped-up bacon onto your mini donuts.
