Human Biology Curriculum

Does the thought of teaching human biology curriculum terrify you? It scared me, until now. It’s all about finding the tools to teach your kids so you can learn along with them, or to hand off the teaching altogether. This secular curriculum is perfect for doing the teaching for you.

Why I Love this Biology Curriculum

Being as I have three kids grades 3-7 this curriculum has been a perfect fit for us to all learn together. My favorite curriculums always give me the option to teach multiple-aged kids together.

As a homeschool mom, I love that the Doctor Robin’s program is just log-in and go. I don’t have to spend hours prepping materials or doing tons of research about what and how to teach biology.

We pull it up on the living room TV so we can watch it on a large screen, without worrying about someone not being able to see something. If you have multiple kids, you know this is important. Using this curriculum on any device is a huge bonus. If your child works better on their own they can grab their tablet and find a quiet space too.

About Doctor Robin’s School

Dr. Robin created this curriculum after she realized, as a homeschool mom herself, that there was no biology curriculum out there that didn’t require the parent to learn the curriculum material first before teaching it. So she created Doctor Robin’s School.

This is designed to be a complete human biology curriculum for grades 3-8 and a supplementary curriculum for 9th-12th grade and adults. Not only is there a video for each lesson but also hands-on learning printables to help your child make the connections.

The videos range from 20 to 30 minutes long, so they won’t overwhelm or bore your children. My kids tend to get antsy if the lessons go too long. Dr. Robin covers the lesson in a slow-paced manner, perfect for first-time learners as it’s unrushed and your child doesn’t feel like they are missing information.

Currently, the lessons range from cardiology to dental, from the 8 senses to genetics and pulmonology, the brain, the GI system, bones, joints, and muscles, Dr. Robin’s School has it all! She’s adding more every month.

I am so glad I came across this post! I usually plan out all of our science units myself, and even though I love doing it that way… I am exhausted! I was searching for a good secular biology curriculum that require less work on my part, and I just thank you so much for this recommendation!! I am actually re-excited for the rest of our school year instead of dreading it! I’ve already subscribed and previewed many of the lessons, and I can tell my kids are going to enjoy it. Thanks again!
