Cooking Curriculum for Kids

My kids love to cook and bake. It can be super scary to let go of the kitchen control, but if you’re like me, you’ll love having another cook in the house. There is cooking curriculum out there to get you and your kids started in the kitchen.

Cooking Curriculum for Kids

There are a number of ways to get your kids more interested in cooking. Or maybe you yourself are looking to learn along with your kids. Either way, there are options to help you. And I am going to share a few with you.

Kids Cook Real Food

Join Mrs. Kimball’s online video course so she can help your kids master 30 basic cooking skills.

They’ll make entire recipes on their own with confidence while you enjoy the quality family time, organized for you.

  • Build strong connections and family memories with your kids in the kitchen.
  • Learn vital cooking techniques in a fun and memorable way – we focus on the skills, not the food, so it’s very allergy-friendly!

KidStir

This is a monthly subscription box that is going to come to you. Members enjoy a monthly cooking kit, additional online recipes and games, and a supportive online community.

Each month brings a new box with 3 step-by-step recipes, a cool kitchen tool, and an activity-filled Foodie Fun magazine.

Stir up memories and watch your child’s confidence grow in the kitchen and beyond, as they tackle new challenges monthly.

Outschool Classes

There are so many different classes available on Outschool. You can choose what works for you, and want you are looking for.

There are short classes and long classes. Classes that have allergies in mind, and classes for different age groups and skill levels. And they are live, they can interact with their teacher and ask questions.

Yummy Crate

Unlock the science of cooking and help kids gain confidence in the kitchen. With these family-friendly, kid-tested (and kid-tasted!) recipes and activities, they can experience the joy of preparing and sharing a meal. All while taking a bite out of big scientific ideas like biology and chemistry in the kitchen.

Raddish Kids

A cooking club that has something for all ages. Young children work alongside an adult, while older kids and teens indulge their culinary curiosity! And it’s perfect for picky eaters — kids who cook, eat!
