Bear Facts for Kids

Here’s a fun fact to get you started: bears can run really fast! They can reach speeds of up to 30 miles per hour (about 48km/hour). That’s pretty fast, especially for something that big!

How fast do your kids think they can run? It might be a fun way to burn off some energy outside!

We live where we can see bears anytime. Do we see them often? Nope. But they do pass through and I have had people message me driving by my house to say “hey just saw a bear cross the road by your place, let your dogs in”.

We are a family of animal lovers. We love to watch documentaries and shows based on animals. It’s natural that we learn about animals individually in our homeschool as well.
