Skor Bars
The other day while grocery shopping I picked up a few cans of sweetened condensed milk for making donair sauce, and it got Hubby craving these Skor bars. Originally I believe the Skor bars recipe was one that I got from his aunt’s because he loved them so much. They are just an unforgettable dessert.
These aren’t something you are going to sit down and pig out on… unless you have an iron stomach because they are sweet. But you are more than welcome to try of course.
These are really simple to make, and I never would have thought of a dessert with Ritz crackers would be so freaking delicious. But here we are, enjoying a delicious dessert made from the Skor bars recipe, combining crackers with chocolate.
What you need:
- 1 box Ritz Crackers
- 1 can Sweeten Condensed Milk
- 1 bag Skor Bits
- 4 Aero Bars
How to make Skor Bars:
Start by crushing a bag of Ritz crackers. Crush them up really well, think tiny bits.
Dump them into a bowl and add in the condensed milk and Skor bits – leave about 1/4 cup for later, and mix well.

Press into a greased 8X8 pan and bake at 350 for 10 – 15 minutes. It will not really change color (darken) but it will become more firm to the touch.
While the crust is baking, break up the four Aero bars, I buy the four packs, a bit cheaper that way.

As soon as you remove the crust from the oven dump the Aero bars on top so they melt. Spread it out with a spatula.
Once the chocolate is spread, sprinkle remaining Skor bits over the top making sure it completes this simple Skor bars recipe.

These are delicious!
Refrigerate until set. Cut them into bars, serve them at home as dessert.

Or take them along to a BBQ or picnic, or a pot-luck. Basically, take them out of the house so you don’t get a tummy ache to try to eat this all yourself.
