Summer Plans in Motion – #KINDERMom

Where the heck has the time gone?! Summer is here! ALREADY! I can’t believe it. It seems like yesterday I was shoveling snow out of the driveway and now I’m covering every inch of my kids in sunscreen. I guess it is time to get our summer plans in motion.

This year we aren’t heading home to Nova Scotia for a visit instead my mother and father-in-law, aunt and uncle (in-law) are traveling out at the end of July to visit for the first time.

I can’t wait to see the girls’ excitement when they get here. Austin is already making plans for what she wants to do with Gramma and Grandpa while they are here.

  • visit the playground
  • visit the library
  • go to the pool
  • playgrounds
  • shopping of course, my girl loves Cabela’s
  • share some kinder eggs with Gramma and of course play with the new toys they get from the Kinder eggs

There are some other places we’re hoping to visit such as:

  • revisit the Science Centre with Dinosaur exhibit (which Brookland was terrified of)
  • Moose Jaw to revisit the Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village & Museum

Moose Jaw Saskatchewan

Kinder® Surprise® eggs are the perfect treat for road trips. A snack and a fun toy for them to play with along the way. Win-Win.

Basically we’ll be doing normal everyday summer fun but with more people. The girls can’t wait to see Gramma and Grandpa, show them everything that they love to do. To have a bigger audience for their dancing, singing and general silliness. They will get to show off their large collection of the 2014 Kinder Egg toys that they have in their rooms. And meet Mr Gauge (in person) for the first time.

What are your summer plans? Are you going somewhere or having a staycation?

Remember Canadians if travelling to the USA as Kinder® Surprise® eggs are not allowed to cross the border. We don’t want anyone getting into trouble!

Disclosure: I’m part of theKinder® Mom program and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group.  The opinions on this blog are my own
