Goldie Locks and the Three Bears

The other day my 5 year was trying to entertain her sister in the car while we were waiting for Hubby to come out of a store. She started to tell her a story of Goldie Locks and the Three Bears. I thought I would share it here.

“Momma, Dadda and Brother Bear had some oatmeal.
Dadda’s was too hot.
Momma’s was too hot.
Brother bear’s was too cold.”

“So they went for a walk.”

“Goldie Locks came.
She tired Dadda Bear’s oatmeal. It was too hot.
She tired Momma’s. It was too hot.
She tired Brother bear’s it was too cold.”

“The End.”

Goldie Locks & the 3 Bears

My girl is now 5 years old. I swear she actually changed over night. She’s more grown up. My baby is growing and I’m crying. She’ll be starting Kindergarten in September, and is so excited about it.

Today we’ll be going to meet her teacher for next year. Wow. It is unbelievable how fast the last five years have gone by. Yesterday she was this tiny little baby girl in my arms and I was terrified I was going screw up royally. I can honestly say, I think I’ve done quite well by her. We all have our bad moments but overall its all good.

Come September I’ll take her to school and leave her there, all day long, for the FIRST TIME EVER, I’ll be without my Austin.
