I am more of a let’s decorate and do crafts for holidays that last longer than the time it takes to eat the chocolates, like Easter. I’m all over making Easter toilet roll bunnies and digging out the paint. I had to enlist some help when it came to making this list of 20 things to make and do with your kids.

A fun holiday is coming up soon, Valentine’s Day. We don’t do much for Valentine’s Day but we do do a little something, a craft and of course chocolate. This Valentine’s Day heart craft is a good balance of learning and of fun, because school shouldn’t have to be lacking in fun.
This is a fun (and cute) Valentine’s Day craft project that can get even the little tots involved. Make a pretty garland to decorate for Valentine’s Day using just colored pipe cleaners and beads.
